I left off when we were spending the night at the wonderful safari camp. What luxury to have a shower and absolutely delicious food!
Sunday morning we came back to our basic camp and walked to another nearby safari camp for lunch. It was not nearly as nice as where we had stayed, so our decision to spend the weekend at the other camp was validated. We had a very lazy afternoon. Mondays are sort of catch up days for the project. We did a game drive and then a couple of us went with the staff to a Masai market to get camp provisions. It’s always fun to be in the real Kenyan towns and the real Masai markets…..men bartering for goats, colorful blankets, vegetables, and more.
The game counting is continuing with two outings this morning. This afternoon we again go out looking for cats. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
