Mozambique is – rightfully so – famous for its islands, with their Caribbean feel and luxurious accommodations. The dazzling colors of the water and the beautiful white sand beaches full of shells and devoid of crowds make Mozambique a desirable destination that is not on the average traveler’s itinerary.
Given its long shoreline, it’s no surprise that the diving and fishing in Mozambique are superb. Paired with the four- and five-star accommodations, Mozambique is a wonderful country to include in any southern Africa itinerary.
Mozambique’s tropical climate means that a visit at any time of the year will be rewarding. The winter (May to October) is best for overall game viewing, while December to April offers the best bird watching experience.
